Is there an issue with the site please? - the formatting / styling appears to be all over the place.

Thanks

Thanks

It's ok for me at the moment, but it does seem occasionally to default into a sort of skeleton mode, with no graphics and a very basic outline which I assume to be  a poor connection/dodgy link but am not really qualified to comment further
This is a problem I'm aware of - your browser is trying to access the site using the https protocol, which isn't implemented yet, as it's giving me a major headache. I'm under the impression that I'm going to have to backup the entire site and delete it. Then reconfigure the host to use the "secure" transport method, recreate everything, restore the backup and keep fingers firmly crossed. Not a five-minute job, and something that's going to take some time to test on a staging server before committing to actually doing it.

It (https) is largely irrelevant to this forum, as the only personal information we store is that which is provided in your user account (which you can amend) - and we certainly don't have anything truly sensitive such as credit card information (as no-one pays anything apart from me). This *may* become an issue in the future if browsers flatly refuse to connect to servers that aren't secure, but that's not happening just yet, so gives me a bit of breathing space.

In the meantime, if you're browsing the forum and it looks wrong, click in the address bar and remove the "s" from "https" at the start of the address, then hit return. That should sort it.
